Oticon's BrainHearing approach prioritizes preserving the natural soundscape — your brain decides what to focus on. Signia's IX prioritizes algorithmic speech-in-noise enhancement — the device prioritizes voices for you. Both work; users typically prefer one or the other after a real-world trial.
Design
Signia Styletto IX wins on slim-RIC aesthetics. Oticon Real / Intent are excellent miniBTE/RIE designs but more conventional looking.
Connectivity
Both stream to iPhone and Android. Oticon's ON app is mature; Signia App has slight edge in environment auto-detection UI.
