What the app does
Volume and program control (discreetly, from a phone instead of fiddling behind the ear), streaming management, battery status, a find-my-hearing-aid locator, and the Signia Assistant — an in-app helper that offers instant sound tweaks ('speech too sharp', 'too much background') which learn your preferences.
Remote care changes the service model
Traditional aftercare meant clinic trips for every adjustment — a genuine barrier for elderly wearers and out-station families. With Signia remote care, your audiologist reviews your feedback and pushes revised settings to your devices over the internet. Our support flow is built on this: WhatsApp your issue, and most sound-quality complaints are resolved by a remote adjustment within a day, no travel.
Setup and phone requirements
The app runs on iOS and mainstream Android phones from the last ~5 years; our audiologist installs and pairs it during fitting and teaches the two screens that matter. For wearers without smartphones, all functions remain available via the aids' own controls and clinic/home service — the app is an enhancement, never a requirement.
